What working with Jack looks like

  • One phone number. Jack answers his own calls and texts, from first question to closing day.
  • Local knowledge. Triple-deckers, condos, capes. He knows what underwriters ask about the homes around here.
  • A plan before you shop. A real pre-approval and a number you can trust before you make an offer.

Questions people ask first

How much do I need to put down?

It depends on the program and the property. Some programs have no down payment for eligible buyers. Jack will tell you the number for your situation before you make an offer.

What is a pre-approval, and how long does it take?

A pre-approval is a lender's written statement of how much you may be able to borrow, based on your credit, income and assets. Most pre-approvals are ready within one business day of receiving your documents.

Can I buy a two, three or four unit home and live in one unit?

Yes. FHA and conventional programs both allow owner-occupied 2 to 4 unit purchases, and part of the rent from the other units may count toward qualifying, subject to program rules.

Does it hurt my credit to get pre-approved?

A mortgage credit pull is a hard inquiry. Multiple mortgage inquiries within a short shopping window are treated as one by the scoring models.

Which states can Jack lend in?

Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Connecticut.
